Why choose between glass and ceramics when you can experience both? In this unique 3-hour workshop designed for two, you'll explore two distinct crafts and create cups in both materials—experiencing the contrasting processes of fire and earth.

What Makes This Special

This is the only workshop where you'll work with both molten glass at 1200°C and clay on the wheel or in your hands. You and your partner will journey through two completely different creative processes, each with its own rhythm, challenges, and rewards.

Part 1: Earth-Ceramics
Choose your method—wheel throwing or hand building. Experience the meditative process of shaping clay into a ceramic cup with your own hands.

Part 2: Fire-Glass Blowing
Feel the heat as you shape molten glass with breath and movement. Learn the fundamentals of glass blowing while creating your own unique glass cup.

Duration: 3 hours
Group Size: 2 people per workshop
Skill Level: Beginners welcome—no experience required

The Experience

Glass Blowing Session
Work together to learn glass blowing fundamentals. Under expert guidance, you'll each create a glass cup, experiencing the thrill of working with molten material.

Ceramics Session
Choose between:

  • Wheel Throwing - Learn to center and shape clay on the potter's wheel

  • Hand Building - Use traditional hand-forming techniques

You'll each create a ceramic cup using your chosen method.
